If you are not satisfied with our product after trying it out according to our product’s instruction and our proven shooting drills. Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same new condition that you received it. Any wear or damage to the product will not qualify for a return or exchange. It must also be returned in the original packaging; the UPC number on the package must also match our records.

To complete your return or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will process returns directly.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming receipt of the returned item and notifying you whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

Customers are responsible for paying the cost of return shipping. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved, the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund for any order that qualified for free shipping at the time of purchase.

If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 10 business days of approval, please first check your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Address and Delivery Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a valid, accurate, and deliverable shipping address.

If a package is returned to sender due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, refusal, or an address or location that cannot accept delivery, SmartShotInventor will issue a refund only after the package has been returned to us, inspected, and confirmed to be in undamaged condition. Any approved refund will be reduced by all shipping-related costs, including the original outbound shipping cost and any return-to-sender fees charged by the carrier.

Delivered Tracking

Carrier tracking is considered the official record of delivery. Once tracking shows a package as “Delivered,” SmartShotInventor will consider the order delivered to the address provided by the customer.

If you believe a package marked “Delivered” is missing, you must contact the carrier immediately to request additional delivery details and also check with household members, neighbors, or building management, if applicable.

We are happy to provide supporting shipment documentation upon request. However, SmartShotInventor is not responsible for packages marked “Delivered” by the carrier, including loss, theft, or misplacement after delivery, unless the carrier confirms in writing that the package was lost or misdelivered.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, TRACKING, AND RETURNS

Free shipping is offered only on U.S. orders. Because SmartShotInventor is a low-cost product, international shipping charges can be significant relative to the purchase price. To keep our product pricing fair and affordable, international shipping costs are paid separately by the customer.

For international orders, customers are responsible for all original shipping charges, all return shipping costs, and any customs forms, duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges associated with returning an item. These costs are non-refundable.

Because SmartShotInventor is a $29.99 product, international return shipping may be expensive in relation to the purchase price and may substantially reduce the value of any refund. Customers should also be aware that using a tracked and insured return shipping method, while strongly recommended, may further increase their costs of the return. International customers should keep this in mind before placing an order.

If you believe your SmartShotInventor is malfunctioning, please contact us before returning it at customerservice@smartshotinventor.com. All units are fully inspected before packaging. In some cases, what appears to be a product issue may be related to setup or insertion of the unit in the sleeve. To help avoid unnecessary international return or exchange costs, customers may submit a short video showing the issue so we can review it, assist with troubleshooting, and determine whether the item may be defective.

Submission of a video or description of a problem does not, by itself, entitle a customer to a refund without return of the product.

If, after review, it is determined that the electronic unit is malfunctioning and replacement is the appropriate remedy, SmartShotInventor will send a pre-tested replacement black electronic unit.

If a customer prefers a refund instead of troubleshooting or replacement, the product must be returned to and received by SmartShotInventor before any refund will be issued, unless otherwise required by applicable law. For this reason, we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method when returning an item, though customers should be aware that doing so may increase the overall cost of the return.

This section applies to standard returns under our Return Policy and does not limit any rights that may apply if an item arrives defective, damaged, or materially not as described where required by applicable law.

IMPORTANT NOTES

These shipping options, insurance policies, tracking visibility, and service terms are determined by the United States Postal Service and destination-country postal carriers, not SmartShotInventor. We do not control carrier policies, customs processing, or local postal handling.

Some countries deliver directly to the address on the package, while other countries may hold international packages at a local postal station or pickup location. If your country or local postal carrier holds international packages for pickup, it is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve the package. SmartShotInventor is not responsible for notifying customers when a package is available for pickup.

Tracking visibility may be limited once a package leaves the United States, depending on the shipping service used. It is not unusual for international packages to go several days or even weeks without a scan while in transit, in customs, or awaiting processing by the destination country’s postal system.

The buyer is responsible for providing a valid, complete, and deliverable shipping address and for understanding their country’s laws and regulations that may apply to the purchase. SmartShotInventor is not responsible for losses caused by seizure, refusal, non-collection, return to sender, or non-delivery due to country-specific laws, regulations, customs requirements, local postal procedures, or incorrect/incomplete address information provided by the customer.

If tracking shows that a package was delivered to the address provided at checkout, or was made available for pickup under the destination country’s local postal procedures, the package will not be considered lost in transit. In such cases, SmartShotInventor is not responsible for theft, loss, or non-receipt after confirmed delivery or confirmed availability for pickup.

Holiday Returns: Purchases made during the holiday season can be returned through January 31st for a refund (item must be unopened in original packaging).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTIONS

At SmartShotInventor, we value our international customers and strive to provide the most reliable and transparent shipping options available. While the vast majority of international orders reach their destinations without issue, please carefully review our policy regarding international shipping, tracking, and refunds before placing your order.

We currently offer two international shipping options through the United States Postal Service (USPS):

USPS First Class International (Economy):

This is the most economical option and is often chosen by customers because of the lower cost. However, it does not include USPS insurance and may provide limited tracking visibility once the package leaves the United States. USPS also generally does not provide the same inquiry and recovery options for this class of service that may be available with higher-tier international services.

Because scan gaps are common with this shipping method, SmartShotInventor does not consider a First Class International package lost immediately after tracking stops updating. As a general rule, we will wait until at least 30 days have passed since the last tracking update, or 45 days from the mailing date, whichever is later, before making a final determination. Our if SmartShotInventor Direct has additional information from the Postal service about delays (i.e. weather related, postal strikes, etc.) these windows are subject to change).

If, after that waiting period, the package still has not been delivered and has not been returned to us, and there is no delivery confirmation or pickup availability scan, SmartShotInventor may review the order for a refund or replacement. If we determine that the package is lost in transit, we may issue a full refund of the product price and the original shipping charge.

However, no refund or replacement will be issued for First Class International shipments that show delivered, show available for pickup, are refused, go unclaimed, are returned due to non-collection, or are affected by customs issues, country-specific regulations, or address errors provided at checkout.

USPS Priority Mail International (Insured & Enhanced Tracking):

This upgraded option includes insurance and enhanced tracking through USPS and is generally the better option for customers who want more visibility in transit.

In the rare event that a Priority Mail International package is confirmed by USPS to have been lost or damaged in transit, SmartShotInventor may issue a full refund of the product price and the original shipping charge, subject to USPS records and applicable claim verification.

As with all shipments, no refund or replacement will be issued for packages that show delivered, show available for pickup, are refused, go unclaimed, are returned due to non-collection, or are affected by customs issues, country-specific regulations, or address errors provided at checkout.
